Welcome to School Election. This app is designed to facilitate digital voting for school elections using a local Wi-Fi network. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure voting environment.

Our app is designed to work locally and does not collect or transmit any personal user data to external servers.

Candidate Information: Users (Administrators) enter candidate names and symbols. This data is stored locally on the device's database to conduct the election.

Voting Data: Vote counts are recorded locally on the "Control Unit" device.

No Personal Tracking: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information from the voters.

3. Permissions We Use

To provide its core functionality, the app requires the following permissions:

Wi-Fi & Network State: Used to establish a local connection between the Control Unit and Ballot Unit devices. No internet data is used for the voting process.

Storage Access: Used to save election results as PDF files in your device's Downloads folder and to allow the admin to select candidate symbols from the gallery.

•

Location: Required by the Android system to scan for and connect to local Wi-Fi networks (Local Hotspot). We do not track your physical location.

4. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device (using an internal database), the security of the data depends on the security of the physical device. We do not use cloud storage, which ensures that election data remains within the school's local environment.

5. Children’s Privacy

This app is intended for use in educational institutions (Schools). It does not collect any personal information from children. All candidate names and data are entered by the school administrator/teacher.

6. Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The app is completely ad-free and focused on privacy.
